Healing Calendula Salve

Calendula is known for its healing abilities, in particular skin repair. Calendula salve is an all purpose salve. Best for improving skin condition, soothing mild skin irritations, lightening scars, reducing bruising and scar formation, moisturizing and repairing. Calendula is very beneficial for eczema and psoriasis and overall dry, cracked skin. Used on dry doggie noses and paws for quick healing. The potent orange color of the calendula flowers infuses beautifully into this oil creating a gorgeous golden salve. These flowers have been started from seed and lived their lives in my organic garden in Bend, OR. Freshly picked and sun dried, all natural goodness. 

Calendula: a wonderful flower in the marigold family that reduces inflammation, provides antioxidants (flavonoids and carotenoids) that protect the skin from free radicals and environmental stressors, promote collagen production and tissue regeneration which helps heal acne, reduce scarring, and reduce wrinkles. 

Suggested Uses: herbal ointments used to nourish and support the body through topical application
